🎃 Halloween Fun at Midland High! 🧁💜

This past Friday, Intuitive Healing Therapy joined Midland High School’s Nutrition Class for their Halloween event and we had an amazing time connecting with students!

The school’s goal was to bring the student body closer together and raise awareness about local services available to them (with a little nutrition education sprinkled in 😉).

Our IHT team focused on promoting body positivity and body acceptance, reminding students that all bodies fit and that their relationship with food and their body truly matters. Our slogan for the day was:
“Built to Be YOU-nique.”

Students enjoyed activities that encouraged self-reflection and self-love, including our body acceptance worksheet, LEGO “Build What’s Inside Your Home” activity, and motivation tattoos and stickers. We also shared cupcakes, squishies, and breathing technique handouts to support mindfulness and stress relief.

We were thrilled by how many students participated many came back multiple times or brought friends to join! Hearing students say things like “It was nice to think of positive things about myself” reminded us why we do what we do.

Thank you to Midland High for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful event. Together, we’re building a community that celebrates self-acceptance, confidence, and connection.

We are deeply grateful for the connection and support this past weekend at the Out of Darkness Walk. Being part of such a powerful, heartfelt, and uplifting experience reminds us of the strength that comes from coming together as a community to honor lives lost, support those who are struggling, and ignite hope for a future free from su***de. To everyone who walked in memory of loved ones, and to those who walked for themselves—you are seen, you are valued, and your presence matters more than words can express. Thank you for your courage and for reminding us of the resilience that lives within each of us. It was a true honor for us at Intuitive Healing Therapy to walk alongside you at this year’s event with the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention West Texas Chapter. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing Tracy Sonners and Kimberly Crisp, and to all who poured their hearts into making every detail of this event possible.
