We laughed, we celebrated, and we were reminded just how special this team is—a cohesive, supportive, and deeply caring group of people. What truly brings us together, though, is serving you. Thank you for helping build this into a thriving space that supports women and offers our community another option for maternity care. We love celebrating a job well done, but none of it is possible without your stories, your trust, and your desire for this kind of care. 💛

This beautiful mama came to the birth center in her third trimester, looking for something different. She and her partner left feeling deeply grateful for our team—but we were just as grateful for her. We love witnessing a woman create her birth plan and step into the empowered birth experience she deserves. Mama Shafiyah did the work! After days of prodromal labor, she persevered with patience and strength—finding ways to relax and stay focused as things grew more intense. She beautifully welcomed Baby Mykah into her arms. Congrats, Shafiyah and welcome to the world, Baby Mykah!

Big Sister, Andrea, is taking her job seriously! She kept coming to the front throughout the day to tell Laura she had a baby brother and was checking on him. Such a sweet family, that we have really enjoyed getting to know.

Yall, I watched Momma Milly’s birth video today when she returned for a postpartum visit. It was incredible.

The perfect music was playing, her husband was at her head supporting her and getting teary eyed, her mom was filming and encouraging and SHE WAS STOIC. The day she delivered she walked in smiling and excited. She didn’t know at the time she was already seven centimeters along. She stayed at seven for a while. But once she reached 8, it was just minutes! The office team could hear Jamie being soft and encouraging then we heard a baby crying. Jamie later described as going from “chill to a whole baby in seconds.” 😄 As frantic as that sounds, the video showed calmness and confidence. It was so beautiful!

Momma Rachel labored everywhere - she was up for every position suggestion, all the movement, and all the rest and relaxation we encouraged along the way. In here time here she moved from the tub, to side-lying, to the toilet for abdominal lifts and walking in between. What a determined, strong momma! Congrats, Rachel and welcome the world, Baby Moony Mae! 💕
