Today we honor our original “OG,” as the coaches call him—the one who helped kick off recovery coaching and shape it into what it is today.

Celebrating 12 years clean, he stands as a true example of resilience, leadership, and believing in second chances. His journey hasn’t just changed his own life—it has impacted all of us here at J&A Counseling and so many others in our community.

✨ A Huge THANK YOU to Our Community! ✨

This past Thursday, our recovery coaches hosted our first ever Friendsgiving Day event, and it was a beautiful success! With the incredible support of the staff at J&A, our team served a full Thanksgiving dinner to our community—feeding roughly 160 people! 🦃💛

We truly could not have done this without the love, generosity, and teamwork of so many:

🌟 Lil Sis Bakery – for providing the most delicious desserts
🌟 Sergey’s Bakery – for the generous bread donation
🌟 Pat’s Food Center – for coming through in under an hour to help us feed 200 people after a mix-up
🌟 Yaya’s Chicken (Midland) – for covering all chicken shortages
🌟 Open Door of Midland – for a large and heartfelt food donation
🌟 Briona (MiHope Coordinator) – for securing food and paper product donations
🌟 And most of all — the families who came out to support our drug- and alcohol-free event!
🌟 Salvation Army- For graciously allowing us to use their facility! We couldn’t have done this without you!

Your support fills our hearts and strengthens our mission every day.
