We hope everyone is having a Musical Monday!

Lately we have been fans of playing,listening, singing and dancing to music lately🎶🎤🎵

A few of the many things music is good for:

🎶boosting mood, memory and focus

🎵can help support emotional regulation

🎤is a creative outlet for the kids to play together, following the lead or taking the lead

🎶working on imitation and listener responding skills while playing/ dancing or singing

Today the kids worked on coloring Christmas pages by decoding the codes to get the correct color. Some of the pages were color by number and others were color by sight words! 🎅🏼🎄🤶

The kids have been enjoying working together to build buildings with blocks. What started as one building slowly turned into a village🧱

It’s important to know what they want “more” of…

The same concept when it comes to manners like “please” and “thank you”.

We need to teach them how to ask for what they want specifically before putting “more, please and thank you” into their vocabulary!

Without the specific item we don’t know what they want “more of”

❄️❄️Since it’s already been snowing out it was a SNOW- brainer to start making snowflakes! ❄️❄️

❄️Here are a few snowflakes that we made today. We used our fine motor skills to cut/ fold the snowflakes and our creativity to make them all unique!❄️
