That being said we are searching for someone to take over our administrative position, this is an entry level position, that will lead to becoming a license agent. We are looking for someone motivated, organized and very personable. The hours would be Monday-Friday 9am-2pm. We wanted to share our son’s story and how god led us to today to be able to give back to the same hospital who took such good care of him!!
In April of 2023 he started having really bad pains in his stomach so we ended up rushing him to the hospital and after multiple ct scans and X-rays, Midlands Signature Care decided to rush him in an ambulance to Covenant Children’s Hospital. Upon arrival the surgeon wanted to take him immediately into surgery because he had what’s called an intussusception that is rare in young children but does happen! It was a long week in the hospital after his surgery. They removed a whole piece of his intestine because it was so damaged and had to re-splice two new pieces. So he couldn’t eat for four days while we waited for him to heal. The hospital although he was going through some of the worse times was AMAZING to the point where he didn’t want to leave once it was time lol! We couldn’t be more thankful for all the nurses and surgeons and staff of that hospital you can tell they really have a passion to helping kids!!

I tell people this story when they say they don’t see a need for health insurance because his bills came in bits and pieces totaling $180,000 but we were super thankful in that moment for having health insurance because we were only responsible for about 3% of that amount.

Above all, we couldn’t be more thankful to be able to give back to other children who may be going through some of the worse times. Also, being a parent and seeing your kids smile with a cool toy the hospital gave them helps you cope a little bit to keep being strong for your child in that moment.
