We see you.

The early mornings.
The “I almost didn’t come today” days.
The questions.
The moments where you slow down to actually learn something instead of just going through the motions.

It might not feel like much when you’re in it.

But this is what progress actually looks like.

Not extreme.
Not all-or-nothing.
Not chasing a perfect week.

Just showing up.
Learning as you go.
Building something you can actually stick with.

That matters more than anything.

So if this has been you lately, even in small ways, we see it.

And it doesn’t go unnoticed.💜

I used to think being a “good coach” meant pushing people harder.
More reps.
More weight.
More intensity.
And while those things can have their place… that’s not what actually helps most people long term.
What I’ve learned over time is this:
The best coaching isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about knowing when to adjust.
When to listen.
When to meet someone exactly where they’re at that day.
Because progress doesn’t come from being pushed past your limits every session.
It comes from building something you can come back to again and again.
That’s the kind of coaching we focus on here.

Getting back into a routine after time off can feel harder than starting for the first time.
Not because you don’t know what to do…
But because you remember what you used to be able to do.

And that’s usually where things go wrong.

You try to jump right back into your “old routine”
Push yourself to where you think you should be
And within a couple weeks… you’re exhausted, sore, and off track again.
If that’s been your experience, you’re not doing anything wrong
You’re just skipping a really important step

Here’s a better way to ease back in:

Start smaller than you think you need to
→ This isn’t about proving anything, it’s about rebuilding consistency

Schedule it like it matters
→ Not “when you have time” — decide ahead of time what your week looks like

Take the pressure off
→ Your workouts don’t need to be perfect, intense, or long right now

They just need to be repeatable
Because that’s the goal in this phase
Not your “best” workouts
Not your hardest effort
Just getting back into a rhythm you can actually stick with.
You’re not starting over
You’re just getting back into practice
And that’s something we can build from

If you’re in this phase right now, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own either 🤍

Bench march - Small movements build lifelong stability.👇
Exercise of the Week: Bench Marches

Stability starts long before you even take a step.
Bench marches teach your body how to stay balanced and in control while shifting weight from one side to the other. This is something you do every day walking, climbing stairs, getting out of a chair, or simply standing on one leg to put on your shoes.

This exercise builds core stability, hip strength, and coordination. It helps your body learn how to support itself during movement, which improves balance, reduces strain on your low back and hips, and makes everyday movement feel smoother and more confident.
Many people lose stability without realizing it, especially when life gets busy or activity levels change. Rebuilding it doesn’t require extreme workouts it requires practicing simple, intentional movements like this.

Like any skill, stability improves when you give your body the chance to learn. You’re not starting over you’re building a foundation that will support you for life.

Strength isn’t just about lifting it’s about staying in control👇

Exercise of the Week: Bear Plank Pull Through

Strength isn’t just about lifting more weight it’s about staying in control while your body moves.

The bear plank pull through teaches your body how to stay stable while your arms and legs are working. This is a skill you use every day carrying groceries, reaching across the counter, pulling something toward you, or simply staying balanced as you move through your routine.

This exercise builds deep core strength, shoulder stability, and coordination. It helps your body resist unwanted movement, which protects your low back, improves posture, and makes everyday tasks feel easier and more supported.

Most people think core strength means crunches or sit-ups. But real core strength is your ability to stay steady while everything else moves. That’s what this exercise teaches.

Like any skill, this improves with practice. Learn how to use your body in a way that supports you for life with us.

Getting better doesn’t always mean doing more.

For a lot of people, “progress” has always meant:
more workouts
more intensity
more restriction
more pressure

And eventually… burnout.

What if progress looked different?

What if it meant:
moving better instead of just more
understanding what you’re doing instead of guessing
adjusting when life gets busy instead of starting over

That’s the shift.

At TTC, we focus on building skills you can actually use , not just pushing you through another workout.

Because real progress isn’t about how hard you can go for a few weeks.

It’s about what you can continue doing long after that. 💜
