Our Christmas Campaign officially begins today.

Each year, High Sky relies on year-end generosity to close the gap in funding so we can continue serving children and families who turn to us in crisis. We must raise $400,000 by December 31 to fully fund our programs and continue offering the level of care our community depends on.

High Sky Children’s Ranch is launching Sage Circle, a weekly support group created specifically for grandparent caregivers. Join us on Wednesdays beginning December 3 for practical tools, meaningful connection, and real community. Sessions will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at the Noel Counseling Center, with scholarships available.

High Sky Children’s Ranch is hiring dedicated professionals who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, youth, and families in West Texas. We are currently accepting applications for two key positions:

Development Director
A strategic leadership role responsible for fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, events, and grant development. This position works closely with agency leadership to support long-term sustainability and advance our mission.

GRO Manager
A hands-on leadership role that oversees daily operations in our General Residential Operations programs. This position leads and supports a team of youth care specialists to ensure high quality care and a safe, trauma-informed environment for the youth we serve.

Our San Angelo teams have been busy building community and celebrating the season!

Both our Stay Together and LIFE programs recently hosted fall gatherings where children, young adults, and families enjoyed food, desserts, and pumpkin decorating while connecting with one another and their providers. These moments of fun and friendship are what make our work so special.

We also joined together for a Pink Out Day in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month—and in celebration of Rosalinda, our incredible Stay Together Family Support Specialist and survivor.

We’re so proud of our San Angelo team for creating spaces of joy, connection, and hope.

In addition to serving youth in foster care and facilitating adoptions, we continue to provide preventative services to at risk families in the community, to biological parents of children in foster care, youth aging out of care, and intensive therapy services to children and families who have found themselves entangled in the Child Protective Services system.
