🚨 Exciting News from Great Lakes Safety 🚨

MIOSHA, the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and Great Lakes Safety Training Center (GLSTC) invite you to join us for an informal networking event focused on workplace safety and health!

9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
The session begins with a presentation by MIOSHA CET Director Tarah Kile, followed by an opportunity for attendees to connect with regional MIOSHA representatives from Consultation, Enforcement, and Industrial Hygiene.

10:30 – 11:30 a.m

Fire Chief Michael O’Brian of the Brighton Area Fire Authority will present “Lithium Ion Batteries – Preparation,” a session focused on understanding the hazards of lithium-ion batteries, how employers can prepare for potential thermal runaway incidents, and the necessary safety protocols to protect workers and facilities.

If your schedule allows, we’d love for you to stay for the full program — but please feel free to attend portions that work best for you.
