Welcome to Artichoke Heart Counseling! My name is Jodi L. Harwood, MA, LPC, and I treat adults for counseling for a variety of issues: depression, anxiety, postpartum concerns, marital/couples concerns, parenting concerns, and the bulk of my work is in trauma/ptsd and the multiple ways it manifests itself - whether it be through ocd symptoms, ptsd symptoms, nightmares, physical pain/ailments, mood disruptions.

I am trained in EMDR and EFT tapping and use that consistently in therapy and have a direct, positive oriented approach.

I accept the following insurances: Aetna, ASR, BCBS, BCN, BC Complete, McLaren, and UnitedHealthcare.

I am trained and certified in EMDR therapy, one of the top, research based methods for trauma recovery. I also use EFT tapping, as well as other modalities.
