It's National Hugging Day today ❤

Fact of the day: Hugs release oxytocin and serotonin, which help in reducing stress, boost the immune system, lower blood pressure, and increase happiness by calming the nervous system down. Even a short hug provides significant benefits for both physical and emotional health.

🧠 Recognize the thought
💬 Reframe it (‘Is this true or is it fear talking?’)
🎯 Refocus your energy on what you can control

You can’t always stop overthinking, but you can redirect it.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose work reminds us that justice, compassion, and dignity are essential to collective well-being.

At Partners in Change, we believe mental health care is part of that legacy creating spaces where people are heard, supported, and treated with respect.

As we reflect today, we’re reminded that care, equity, and connection are not just ideals, but daily practices. May we continue striving to build communities rooted in understanding, empathy, and meaningful change.

Saying ‘no’ isn’t selfish, it’s self-respect.
Boundaries protect your peace, your time, and your energy.

Start small: say no to one thing this week that doesn’t serve your well-being.
