✨Meet the Staff ✨ ⁣

My name is Annie Evans. I have been with the company for 6 years and have been an RBT for 5. Having a brother with Autism, plus many family members with special needs, gave me a heart and passion for this community. I’m currently working on my Bachelor’s in psychology at UTPB, and my goal is to get my masters in Applied Behavior Analysis and become a BCBA. ⁣
I have been married to my husband for 14 years, and we have 3 children: Codi, my bonus daughter (20), Zoe, whom we recently adopted (14), and my son William (12). and hoping to help more children find their forever home in the future. ⁣
In my spare time, I like to go camping with my family, play video games, read, do diamond painting while listening to true crime, and listen to music. Music is a big part of my life, and I listen to pretty much anything. I’m always singing something around the clinic. ⁣
I love working at speech language and behavior because we are like a family regardless of if we’ve known each other for years of weeks. I also love the kids and their families, watching them grow and excel is what makes the job rewarding. ⁣

Wishing our SLB family a ✨ happy 2026! ✨ Yes, we are almost 2 weeks into January, but y’all know getting back into a schedule after the holidays can be challenging!! We have some exciting changes coming this year at SLB so stay tuned! In the meantime, we feel so grateful for our amazing staff and for the families we serve. Thank you for a wonderful year!
