Joy Drake Eudy

Joy Gaynelle Drake Eudy, 86, of Midland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Joy was born May 15, 1939, in Cabarrus County to the late John Alexander Drake and the late Ella Knight Drake. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, David Edward Eudy; brothers Bob Drake and Curtis Drake of Midland and sister Alice Ruth McDaniel of Mt. Pleasant. There’s so much left behind when someone you love dies.

Many people will tell you what you should and shouldn't do with your loved one's belongings.

Here’s the thing…you don’t have to decide today. Or this year. Or ever, if you’re not ready.

"If it brings you comfort…keep it.
If it doesn’t…you’re allowed to let it go."

Just remember that whatever you chose to do, (or not do) is totally up to you.
