Pinecrest Farms

Pinecrest Farms Pinecrest serves a population of frail, elderly, developmentally disabled and mentally ill clients.

These clients are independently ambulatory, or able to move about freely by self-propelling a wheel chair, are able to transfer themselves from bed to chair, and generally required only minor assistance or supervision of most activities of daily living. They do not meet the criteria of requiring daily nursing service or other licensed services provided in the Skilled Nursing Facility or Hospital environment.

Tonight we had our first ever Pinecrest Uno tournament!! With our guests the Gray 4-H club playing for a collaborated night of laughs, smiles and of course draw-4’s!! Juan was the Champion of Champions!! Such a fun night!!

Today was day 7 of incubating the eggs. So 21 of the 26 chicken eggs are growing chicks and 3 of 3 turkeys. So only 5 duds, but neat experience candling the eggs!! Bob had an eagle eye for the good eggs!!

2 busy days of outings!! Cozy Cats Cafe trip, then took a group to the Handy Middle School vs Mt. Pleasant Middle School 7th grade basketball games. Then today took a group bowling at Northern Lanes. Getting people out and about!! Oh and we started 29 eggs in the incubator to get a hatch in 21 days!!
