REACH Council Prevention Services is a non-profit agency serving the communities of Ellis and Johnson Counties. Our primary focus is substance use (Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs) prevention and recovery support for teens and young adults. REACH Council Prevention Services partners with various school districts in Ellis and Johnson Counties to provide prevention education programs at no cost to st

The Midlothian Police Department, Reach Council, and Methodist Midlothian Medical Center have partnered to get unused and expired medications conveniently out of your home on Sat., April 25, 2026, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drive by the hospital main entrance at 1201 E. US Hwy. 287 Service Road to drop off your drugs. An onsite pharmacist will be available to answer questions you may have about your current medications.

While picking up materials from the DEA in Dallas for the upcoming National Drug Take Back Initiative (NTBI) on Saturday, April 25th - Melita (DEA Diversion Program Specialist) wanted to remind everyone to clean out those medicine cabinets of any expired or unused medications and safely dispose of them at one of the Ellis County Drug Take Back Day locations near you!
Participating Law Enforcement Agencies in Ellis County are:
