Black birth justice has always included Black fathers.

Joel Austin of Daddy University is coming to The Black House to make sure we never forget it.

Join us this April 17th for Virginia’s Black Maternal Health Summit

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Joel Austin founded Daddy University in 1997 after recognizing that fathers were being systematically excluded from parenting education.

What started as a personal mission has grown into a national male parenting education company dedicated to educating, advocating for, and supporting fathers and father figures.

Joel is founder of the National Fatherhood Conference and a certified master trainer in fatherhood development curricula β€” championing the truth that involved fathers change outcomes for children and families.

Virginia raised these women β€” and these women turned around and changed the world. 🌎

In hospitals, in laboratories, in courtrooms, in classrooms, and on battlefields, they faced racism and sexism and showed up anyway.

All April, we’re telling their stories the way they should’ve always been told β€” with love, with pride, and with the full weight of what they gave us.
