Meet Yvonne Tante. She is a high-performing Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) who specializes in a long-term care (LTC) setting acts as the primary provider, bridging the gap between acute care, chronic disease management, and palliative care. She is also responsible for improving quality of life, maintaining functional independence, and reducing unnecessary hospitalizations for elderly, frail patients.

Meet Mrs. Courtney Schoonover, an Internal
Medicine Nurse Practitioner who has been proudly serving patients since 2022. Courtney has a special passion for caring for the skilled nursing facility (SNF) population and is deeply dedicated to supporting the elderly with compassion and respect.

Outside of her professional role, Courtney enjoys a full and vibrant life. She is married to a family practice physician, and together they recently welcomed their first baby girl in September 2025. When she’s not caring for patients, you can find her traveling, spending time outdoors, and enjoying life with her dog and growing family.

Everyone meet Jesse Mann!

Jesse Mann, DNP, AGACNP-BC
APP Director | Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Jesse currently serves as a nurse practitioner and APP Director at GADZOOM Health, where he
leads and supports a team of advanced practice providers delivering comprehensive post-acute
and long-term care across skilled nursing facilities. His leadership emphasizes high-quality,
patient-centered care for older adults and those with complex medical needs.
He is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over two decades
of experience in pre-hospital, hospital, flight medicine, emergency medicine, critical care, and
hospice. Jesse’s clinical focus is rooted in gerontology and palliative care, with a passion for
improving comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients facing acute and chronic illness.
His background includes extensive work in both home-based and inpatient hospice settings,
where he has managed complex symptoms and supported families through difficult decisions
with compassion and clarity. Jesse earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of
Utah and holds advanced certifications in emergency nursing, respiratory therapy, and flight
paramedicine.
He has served as a flight paramedic, flight respiratory therapist, and clinical educator at a top-tier
academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center, where he taught advanced life support
courses and mentored providers in high-acuity settings. These roles sharpened his ability to lead
effectively in both calm and crisis, and to navigate the full spectrum of patient care needs.
In addition to his civilian healthcare experience, Jesse is a proud U.S. Army veteran, having
served as a Forward Observer in the Utah Army National Guard. His military service instilled the
leadership, adaptability, and discipline that continue to shape his clinical and administrative
approach.
Jesse remains deeply committed to supporting patients, families, and fellow clinicians in
delivering thoughtful, values-driven care throughout the aging journey .

✨Next up on our fabulous physician list, we would like to shine a spotlight on our other medical director, Dr. Farhan Abdullah✨

Everyone meet Dr. Farhan Abdullah:

Dr. Abdullah is a board-certified internal medicine physician who serves as the Medical Director at Midlothian Healthcare Center. What sets him apart is the breadth of what he brings to the table. He's not just managing patients in a post-acute setting; he's actively practicing across multiple clinical environments, which gives him a perspective that most medical directors simply don't have. Dr. Abdullah maintains hospital privileges as an attending hospitalist at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and Methodist Southlake Medical Center, where he manages complex internal medicine cases every week. This means that when he's overseeing patient care at Midlothian, he's doing it with the sharpened instincts of a physician who's constantly navigating acute illness, multi-system disease, and the kinds of clinical curveballs that keep you thinking on your feet. Beyond his hospital work, he holds specialized certifications from the Institute of Functional Medicine, the Hormonal Health Institute, the R3 Stem Cell Institute, and the Ketamine Academy, giving him advanced training in areas like hormone optimization, regenerative medicine, and metabolic health. He also runs Magnolia Functional Wellness in Southlake, TX, where he treats patients with a root-cause approach to chronic disease. This functional medicine lens carries over into how he thinks about patients at Midlothian, always looking at the bigger picture rather than just putting out fires. On the academic side, Dr. Abdullah serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at UT Southwestern Medical Center and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at TCU/UNTHSC School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he helps train the next generation of physicians. When he's not practicing medicine, Dr. Abdullah is a dad to three kids, a die-hard Dallas Mavericks fan (he'll tell you they're 90% of the reason he moved to DFW), and a regular on the basketball and pickleball courts. He and his wife are self-proclaimed Dallas food scene enthusiasts, with Tatsu holding the undisputed top spot.

Everyone meet Dr. Ryan Coil:

Ryan Coil MD is an engaging provider that loves his patients and fellow healthcare team members. He is passionate about bringing dignity and high quality care to Skilled Nursing Facilities. He is an engaging healthcare executive serving as the Chief Medical Director of Texas for Gadzoom Health. He has played a key role in expanding the company’s footprint, helping secure multiple skilled nursing facilities across the state while leading both clinical and operational strategy.
With a unique ability to bridge medicine and business, Ryan focuses on building scalable healthcare systems that improve patient outcomes while driving growth and operational success for our partners. His leadership reflects a commitment to innovation, teamwork, efficiency, and long-term impact in the evolving post-acute care landscape.
When he is not working his greatest joy spending time with and traveling the world with his wife and four kids.
