Surgery went well. I am now home. I should not have to be remapped for radiation. They will take a few pictures via CT scan to ensure the mapping is still valid. 2 weeks of radiation on hold to give me a chance to heal. They took great care of me at Baylor Plano. Thanks for the prayers! It's not over yet. Love y'all!

Radiation was supposed to start today but having problems with healing. Surgery this afternoon to intervene with two areas not healing. Radiation on hold for 10 days. Praying for healing. I stopped taking my daily steroids in hopes that it will help with healing. Watching closely to react before an adrenal crisis. Just a tiny bump in the road. God has this!

Radiologist had said I didn't need radiation but Oncologist completely disagrees so on with radiation after healing. Just looking for prayers for healing. Thanks in advance! Love y'all!

I am healing well. Went back to work last week. Building my energy back.

Keytruda attacked my adrenal glands so I am currently steroid dependant. Working to recover that back but if it doesn't, it is treatable. I think it will recover, endocrinologist does not. I am also hypothyroid thanks to Keytruda. The positives the Keytruda has given me outweigh the negatives.

I have 3 more weeks of fills in my expanders then mapping for radiation on May 8th. I was given the choice of lower dose radiation for three weeks or the most protection of highest dose for 5 1/2 weeks. I chose the latter. Radiation begins May 22nd. 28 treatments over the 5 1/2 weeks. This cancer is difficult to treat and I choose to be as aggressive. No regrets or second guessing! God has this, and me!!!!

Thankful for all your love and prayers! Love you all!!!

I had my last Keytruda infusion on March 25th. Was to have 3 more spread over three weeks each but I have developed a rare side effect known as Adrenal Insufficiency. Prayers that it was just starting and may be reversed. I know I don't feel like I have it fully, just have had a few episodes that have landed me in the ER which are tied to AI to which thankfully, I have recovered quickly. I have researched AI and my prayers go out to all affected by this frustrating affliction.

The radiologist said I do not need radiation but the Oncologist just found out and completely disagrees. So I find out April 10th if I will indeed have radiation. If it reduces my chance of recurrence then I need to do it. I have been through the hard phases of this round so moving on forward.

The weekend has been very productive. Mowed the back yard, installed a new flag/flag pole, caught the laundry back up, cleaned house, repaired outdoor light set. Cleaned out closets and drawers. Organized kitchen, cleaned up the grill and got it ready for grilling season, and soaked up some rays!

I am so thankful to God for his grace and mercy, as well as to my family and friends for their love and prayers. Thank you all so much! Love y'all!

Well, phase 2 of killing this monster was completed Feb 24th. I have been home, recovering well, considering the Double Mastectomy that was performed. Recovery will just be a blink of an eye in the big picture.

I got my first look at what was done and initially, my stomach dropped and I was nauseous but had to remind myself that this is what we expected. It's just shocking to see.

Today, my surgeon called to tell me to celebrate! Chemo had nearly killed off all of the cancer with only .1 cm cancer remaining. The surgeon removed the tumors with good margins and 6 lymph nodes were also removed and were tested to be cancer free.

With all Glory to God and prayers, love, and support from many family and friends I can report to you today that I am cancer free!!!!!!! There will still be radiation and several surgeries ahead to be whole again but we have come a long way in just 9 months! GOD IS SOOO GOOD!!! Thank you all for your love, prayers and support!

Ronda is doing good. They did not have the correct dose of dilated so they gave her Tramadol while they got that figured out. That has been worked out. However she is doing well with her pain now so she is holding off on the dilated unless she feels like she needs it!! She is a badass!!!!! We are getting ready to get some sleep. I am exhausted.

Surgery is complete and I should know more soon.

Preliminary results on the lymph node's is no sign of cancer and she is doing fantastic. Now the plastic surgeon is working and he should be done in a couple hours. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!
