What's one of the things that makes our community so special?

Our nursing students! 😍

Each semester we work with local schools and invite their nursing students to complete clinical training at our community. They get real life, on-the-job training from our amazing team members, and they also get a glimpse into the world of working in senior living.

Last week, we welcomed nursing students from the Chesterfield Technical Center, and they are already proving to be a great group!

We were feeling the LOVE on Valentine's Day! ❤️

Last week our community was decked out in red and pink decor to celebrate Cupid's favorite holiday! We enjoyed live music at our "Be Mine" happy hour social, and some AMAZING food for our Valentine's Day meal - just look at that presentation 😍

We made sure our residents felt ALL the love and appreciation for our making our community a wonderful place to live, work, and visit!

Yes, we jumped on the bandwagon and altered some pictures to look like drawings - WOW!

Not only do these look great, but it highlights how focused our residents were during this Valentine's Day craft. Just look at the concentration!

As expected, the finished products were as pretty as these pictures 🎨💝

Our residents keep life interesting with wonderful surprises!

Ms. Audrey, who’s been part of our community for months, recently reminded us of her hidden talent—playing the piano. Her impromptu performance brought smiles and applause from everyone around.

It’s a great reminder that there’s always more to learn about our residents. We appreciate when they share their stories and passions with us! 💜

TOUCHDOWN!!! 🏈

We hope everyone enjoyed football season and had a chance to root for their favorite team during the Superbowl! Last week, the team had their own Superbowl and got to represent their favorite sports team 🏅

Of course, everyone chose football, and to say that there was "just a little" friendly competition is an understatement!

DID YOU KNOW? 👀

The way our food is presented to us plays a big role in how we eat. Have you ever heard of "eating with your eyes?" Hunger cues are only part of the reason why we choose to eat. For seniors, this can cause weight loss and dehydration if those hunger cues aren't what they used to be.

At Spring Arbor, our food not only tastes delicious, but it looks pretty too! Never without a garnish, and always with vibrant colors, our eyes can't help but signal to our brains that it's TIME TO EAT! 😋

We sure know how to STRIKE up some fun!

Last week our residents got to enjoy a friendly game of "precision bowling" that had us all clapping and cheering whenever someone was able to knock down a pin. No bowling experience? No worries! Our team is happy to help you join in on the fun 😃

Who knew bowling would be right up our alley 😉

It's tee time at Spring Arbor! ⛳

We love offering a wide range of activities for our residents. We ESPECIALLY love being able to share old pastimes that bring back fond memories!

Many of our residents enjoyed playing golf at some point in their life, and they never miss an opportunity to share their stories of triumphs and frustrations when remembering their days on the green!

No matter what hobby, talent, or interest you have, Spring Arbor has you covered!

*** WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ***

Although the weather is still chilly, our community continues to operate as normal! We are hopeful that our power remains on and that the road conditions improve despite the freezing temperatures. We are OPEN FOR BUSINESS so if you can make it here safely, feel free to swing by for a visit!

We had a PICTURE-perfect day with this activity!

We love when creativity comes to life and our residents get to put their own unique spin on a fun design. Making their own pictures frames - with buttons - was SEW much fun! From bright patterns to one-of-a-kind masterpieces, every frame was as special as the resident who made it. 💜

*** WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ***

Happy SNOW DAY from Spring Arbor! It's 26 degrees here in Salisbury and sleet is forecasted for the rest of the day. We have a few inches of snow on the ground with a mixture of sleet and snow continuing to fall. Our power is still on, and the heat is cranking to keep our residents and team warm and cozy!

We appreciate all of our team members who are here today, many who spent the night, that are away from their homes and loved ones to take care of our residents. Thank you for all that you do! 💜
