The Free Play Foundation is currently seeking to partner with Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), ABA professionals, therapists, interns, and child development specialists who are passionate about supporting children with autism and related needs.

We are offering a unique opportunity to collaborate during our camps, providing hands-on engagement with children in a structured, inclusive, and play-based environment.

My name is Jessica Bernard, and I currently reside in Dallas, Texas. I was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana. I am a wife and the proud mother of a wonderful six-year-old son, who is my greatest motivation.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and my master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Belmont Abbey College. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Healthcare Administration at the University of Lynchburg, with an expected graduation date of December 2026.

I am deeply passionate about the Free Play USA because my son has Autism. Autism does not define my child—it is simply one part of who he is. Through this foundation, I hope to encourage other families to embrace their children’s unique strengths, advocate confidently for their needs, and create inclusive spaces where every child can thrive.
