This feels like an important reminder—especially if one of your goals this year is building physical strength.

Inner strength matters too.

Learning to listen to my body and connect that awareness to my emotional well-being and mental health was truly transformational for me. It shifted the way I relate to effort, rest, discipline, and care. Strength stopped being about pushing harder and started being about responding more wisely.

That’s one of the reasons I’m so drawn to work that centers on nervous system regulation—because when the body feels safe and supported, calm becomes accessible, clarity improves, and resilience grows from the inside out.

You’re not failing if you slow down.
You’re not weak for tending to your inner world.
That is strength.

This month’s schedule includes yoga classes, group yoga therapy sessions, sound baths, community gatherings, and intentional spaces for connection and self love. There’s even a lighter, more playful offering woven in to keep things real.

Creating spaces where people feel safe enough to let go, soften, and release what they have been carrying is at the heart of this work. The energy in these rooms is never one-sided. What each person brings, their presence, openness, and trust, shapes the experience just as much as anything I offer.

Last night was really special. 🤍

This family gathered for a private sound bath to celebrate a military homecoming. One of them won a free session in a drawing last year and chose to save it for this moment, sharing it with her daughters and their partners.

As a former military spouse, I know firsthand how meaningful these homecoming moments are. The waiting, the holding it together, and then the deep exhale when everyone is finally in the same room again. Creating space to slow down, relax, and just be together felt especially powerful.

I’m truly honored to hold space for this family and to be part of such a beautiful reunion.

Sharing this flyer from the International Association of Yoga Therapists because this is one of the questions I get asked most often: What is yoga therapy, and how is it different from a regular yoga class?

Yoga therapy is personalized and responsive. Rather than following a set sequence or group flow, sessions are adapted to support individual needs and real-life challenges. The focus is less on poses and more on using movement, breath, and mindfulness in a way that feels supportive and accessible.

This flyer does a great job explaining those differences and offering a clear overview for anyone who’s been curious. It also reflects the approach I’ve been training in as I finish up my clinical hours.

Join me in Evolve's tranquil salt cave for a Vibrational Wellness experience that blends gentle sound, vibration, and halotherapy into one restorative afternoon. This is not a typical sound bath or relaxation class. It is an intentionally curated experience designed to help you slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself in a quiet, supportive environment. This session focuses on weighted tuning forks applied to the body, but also includes drumming and other highly vibrational instruments.
