When did you stop playing? πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ

Productivity shouldn't be your only personality trait, you know. You're allowed to have fun, too! In fact, play is a necessity for good mental health, even in adulthood. THG therapist Ricci Howell, LCSW, PMH-C recently wrote a blog post about why we need to make play a priority, and how to do it. Check it out here: https://www.thehealinggroup.com/blog/creating-room-for-more-fun-and-play-in-your-daily-life

What have you done to play lately?

If this is a struggle for you or your relationship, give us a call. A skilled therapist can help you find ways to embrace vulnerability and create safety in your relationships and foster the intimacy you crave.

Do you feel like you've forgotten how to play? What once came naturally as a child might feel difficult now, either because it feels like a frivolous use of time or you've forgotten what you like to do altogether. In the most recent THG blog post, therapist Ricci Howell explores the ways that regular play is an essential component to good mental health, as well as ways to incorporate it more into our daily lives. Hop on over and give it a read: https://www.thehealinggroup.com/blog/creating-room-for-more-fun-and-play-in-your-daily-life

Do you incorporate play into your life as an adult? Drop it in the comments to help inspire others who might need some ideas! Or, what would you LIKE to do for play that you aren't doing yet?
