February is for National Children’s Dental Health Month!
Why is Dental Health Important?
- Looking after our dental hygiene is very important, we want to make sure and encourage brushing twice a day and coming to the Dentist for our regular check ups. Healthy dental hygiene can help prevent painful cavities and gum disease.

How to keep Mouth, Teeth, and Gums Healthy:
- BRUSH TWICE A DAY 🪥: Once in the morning and once in the evening, each time for 2 minutes.
-FLOSS TEETH 🦷: Helps to clean away plaque and bacteria that get caught in between teeth.
-SNACK HEALTHY AND AVOID ACIDS: Healthier snacks that have less sugar can be a better option to help maintain dental hygiene. Limiting foods and drinks that are highly acidic can wear down tooth enamel.
- STAY HYDRATED: Avoid sugary drinks and drink a lot of H2O. Drinking water helps to wash away leftover sugar that get stuck on teeth.
