We want to update you on the status of Senate Bill 6 (SB 6) and House Bill 6 (HB 6). Both bills are currently pending in the House Public Health Committee. At this time, we are waiting for a committee substitute to be presented and voted on in an upcoming formal meeting. This substitute language will be key in determining how these bills move forward and how they affect our industry.
Your continued advocacy is critical as these bills progress. The House Public Health Committee and other legislators need to hear from the h**p industry and supporters of fair, responsible regulation.

Please contact your Texas House member as well as members of the House Public Health Committee. Every call and email makes a difference in ensuring lawmakers understand the importance of protecting small businesses, farmers, and consumers in the h**p industry.
