Celebrating Success: Patsy Bryner Returns Home After Completing Therapy at Brookline Healthcare

On December 12th, we proudly celebrated the discharge of Patsy Bryner from Brookline Healthcare! After completing her therapy journey, Patsy returned home with a smile and a heart full of gratitude.

Brookline Healthcare Rocks Headband Day with Holiday Cheer!

On December 10th, Brookline Healthcare was buzzing with festive spirit as our amazing staff showed off their festive headbands for Headband Day, one of our December theme days! From snowmen and reindeer to Santa hats, snowflakes, elves, and even a few surprises, the halls were filled with holiday magic perched right on top of everyone’s heads.

This wasn’t just about headbands—it was about joy, laughter, and team spirit. Our staff didn’t hold back, turning a simple accessory into a full-blown celebration. Whether it was a glittery snowflake headband or a jolly Santa hat, each piece added to the fun and reminded us why Brookline Healthcare is such a special place to work.

Brookline Healthcare Rocks Around the Christmas Tree with Ricky Koons!

On December 9th, the halls of Brookline Healthcare were alive with the sound of music—thanks to the talented Ricky Koons! With his guitar in hand and a smile that could light up the season, Ricky treated our residents to an unforgettable afternoon of melodies and memories.

From classic tunes to toe-tapping favorites, Ricky’s playlist had something for everyone. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, he sprinkled in some Christmas magic, strumming out beloved holiday songs that had everyone humming along. The room was filled with laughter, clapping as residents sang along.

Brookline Healthcare Residents Enjoy a Magical Christmas Lights Tour

The holiday season at Brookline Healthcare was filled with joy and wonder as residents embarked on a scenic ride to experience the beauty of Christmas lights on December 9th. The evening began with a visit to Kish Park in Lewistown, where they explored the breathtaking display, “Shining Light Through the Darkness.” The park sparkled with festive decorations, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of the season.

Residents were delighted as they road through the glowing pathways, listening to classic Christmas carols that added an extra touch of magic to the night. The Kish Park staff welcomed everyone with open arms, sharing stories and laughter, and even posing for pictures with the residents. These moments of connection made the evening even more special, reminding everyone of the joy that comes from community and togetherness.

After enjoying Kish Park’s dazzling lights, the group continued their journey through Juniata County, taking in the scenic beauty and twinkling displays along the way. The ride was filled with smiles, conversation, and holiday cheer as residents reminisced about past Christmases and created new memories to cherish.

“Look at all the staff’s favorite Christmas characters!” Each choice was a reflection of the joy and creativity that makes our team so special. From beautifully decorated Christmas trees to twinkling lights and cheerful garlands, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of holiday spirit. Residents and staff alike are enjoying the sights, sharing stories, and soaking in the joy that these decorations bring.

Step outside, and the magic continues! Our Maintenance Department has gone above and beyond to make the exterior just as stunning.
