As we stand at the quiet edge of Holy Saturday, the world holds its breath between the Cross and the Resurrection.
Yesterday we remembered the greatest act of love ever given â Christ laying down His life for us.
âGreater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends.â â John 15:13
And in a small, earthly way, mothers live a reflection of that love every day.
Motherhood is a thousand quiet sacrifices no one sees.
It is the sleepless nights.
The prayers whispered over cribs.
The worry carried silently in your heart.
The meals made, the tears wiped, the patience stretched, the life poured out again and again.
To be a mother is to give yourself â body, heart, and soul â for the life of another.
It is a love that costs something.
And that is why it is so sacred.
Christ showed us that true love is not comfortable, convenient, or easy.
It is sacrificial.
It kneels to serve.
It suffers.
And in the end⌠it gives everything.
Every mother who pours herself out for her children walks a small path that mirrors the Cross â loving, serving, and giving even when it is hard.
But the Cross is never the end of the story.
Tomorrow we celebrate the Resurrection.
Life after sacrifice.
Hope after suffering.
Victory after death.
So to the mothers who feel poured out today â know this:
God sees every hidden sacrifice.
Every prayer.
Every act of love.
And just like the story of EasterâŚ
Love poured out is never wasted.
The Resurrection reminds us that what is given in love is always redeemed.

A blessed and holy Easter to all the mothers preparing their hearts to celebrate the victory of Christ tomorrow.
