44 y/o m who presents with low back pain onset three weeks ago. He states that his symptoms began after a feral cat scratched his right wrist three weeks ago, which left an abrasion. After the bite, he began experiencing low back pain, accompanied by fever reaching as high as 104Β°F. He was presumptively treated for cellulitis with amoxicillin, but his symptoms persisted. His back pain has been constant, achy, and described as 6/10 on the pain scale. He has also complained of bladder sensory loss, in which he has not felt the urge to urinate with incomplete emptying. Other associated symptoms included inability to ambulate without assistance, shortness of breath, scrotal pain, and nonspecific abdominal pain.
