Today we’re celebrating all the joy, curiosity, and giggles that come with this special season. Our classrooms have been filled with bright colors, tiny artists, and lots of excited little hands exploring springtime fun.

- sweet treats (and maybe a few too many jellybeans)
- and the kind of memories that make childhood feel magical

🐰 Attention Past and Present Families of MCDC! 🐰

We’re egg-cited to invite you to our Easter Egg Hunt on Friday April 3, from 6:00–7:30 PM here at the center.

This will be a fun, relaxed evening for children and their families to explore, play, and enjoy a little springtime magic together.

We’ll have age‑appropriate egg hunts, simple activities, and plenty of opportunities for photos.

A few quick notes:
🐇 Bring a small basket or bag for collecting eggs
🐇 Dress for the weather, as some activities may be outdoors
🐇All children must remain with a parent or guardian during the event

We can’t wait to celebrate with you, your friends, family and little ones. Thank you for being part of our community and helping us make this a special evening for the children. 🐣

Toddler Staff Meeting Time.

Agenda items include:
- Why Goldfish crackers should count as a food group
- The ongoing investigation into “Who moved my favorite truck”
- A passionate debate about whether socks are optional

Don’t worry — we’ll switch back to regular nap time tomorrow…
(unless the toddlers unionize).

Two years ago today, we opened our doors with a dream of bringing quality child care to our community.

Two full years of learning, growing, laughing, nurturing, and building something truly special.

We are beyond ✨ grateful ✨ for the families who trust us each day.

We are thankful for the incredible staff who pour their hearts into our children.

We are proud of the safe, loving environment we’ve created together.

Watching the little ones grow and knowing we get to be part of their story is the greatest gift.

We are so excited for what the next year — and the years to come — will bring.

🎨 Our toddler room turned into a tiny art studio today! 🎨

We set out free painting boxes, and the kids dove right in—brushes, rollers, fingers, and lots of giggles. Every box became its own little masterpiece, full of color and personality.

Free painting isn’t just fun… it’s how toddlers explore textures, practice coordination, and learn that their ideas matter.

And the best part? Their pride when they step back and say, “I did that!”

Messy? Yes.
Worth it? Always.

🌈 Free Play Magic at Our Center 🌈

If you peeked into our classrooms, you’d see something wonderful—children making choices that fit their curiosity, their pace, and their imaginations.

Some friends built towering block cities.
Some cozied up with books.
Some mixed colors at the art table.
Some cooked up pretend feasts in the kitchen corner.
And some simply wandered, watching, thinking, deciding what felt right for them.

Free play isn’t “just play.”
It’s confidence-building.
It’s problem-solving.
It’s learning how to share space, ideas, and materials.
It’s discovering what lights them up.

We love giving children the freedom to choose—because those choices help them grow into curious, capable, joyful little humans. 💛
