🧀 Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing touring and learning all about the Valley Queen Cheese Factory at the Heritage Center! We watched an informational video, sampled some delicious cheese, and discovered familiar faces —our own community members and family who dedicated many years of service and made a lasting impact. What a special connection to our local history! 💛

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸
Today we proudly honored our veterans by attending the community Veterans Day program. Residents enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Millstone, and our veterans were presented with thoughtful goodie bags from members of the local American Legion. We’re so grateful for their service and for the community support that helps us celebrate them! ❤️🤍💙

Our first-ever Leadership Retreat in Oacoma, South Dakota, brought together our incredible Executive Directors and Directors of Nursing for a week filled with learning, laughter, and connection.

Hosted by the iconic Al's Oasis, our theme, “Howdy, Partners!” perfectly captured the spirit of teamwork and South Dakota pride. From unveiling our new Mission, Vision, and Values to training on crucial conversations and welcoming new onboarding tools, this retreat was all about growth, gratitude, and celebrating the people who make Peaceful Pines feel like home.

We stayed busy with a little bit of everything — starting the day with basketball toss and exercises, then crafting a thankful board with the help of our wonderful volunteers, Clarice & Robin. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a round of Garden Bingo 🌸 and wrapped up the day with a relaxing happy hour! 🍹
