New Year often means the pressures of setting new resolutions. Yes, you may set one or two goals but do you find difficulty in keeping the goal for more than a couple of weeks?
It's not you that's the problem, it's the season. Winter is time of rest, slowing down, reconnecting with oneself. Everything around us is currently in a state of hibernation, dormancy, rest, and connection. It goes against human nature to try and start a new, and often big, habit.
Instead, take the Winter season to prepare you mind, body, home, relationships, and self for the invigorating season of spring. How to do this? Easy -- rest, take ease, eat those warm and comforting foods, declutter both your mind and space, reconnect with yourself and your family... in short, slow down.
Set those goals and new resolutions in the Spring when everything in nature begins new life. You will find a little bit more ease and success this way!
Until then, rest and enjoy this Winter season. 🤗❤✨
