EMPTY WORDS

One of the oddest things we all do is apologize when we did nothing wrong just to make something right in someone else's eyes.
This diminishes our integrity, lessens the capacity to discern inner truth, and it hurts. The little lies we create to pacify someone's ego builds toxic resentment; it is no way to live.
Apologies are a bridge to peace but if said with emptiness, they are worthless.

It’s a natural instinct for those who’ve experienced the death of a loved one to wish for things to be the same as they once were. And the reality that things will never be the same is heartbreaking.

By holding space for ourselves and others in grief, we can start moving, slowly, through that heartbreak towards a more loving acceptance. One that connects us to a wholeness and resiliency that allows us to keep loving. The reality is that we loved them before their death and we will keep loving them after it too.

🧘‍♀️ ~ Sometimes people just need someone to hold space for them. AND sometime those people are most least unexpected ~ There are no chance encounters we are all right where we are suppose to be ~

When someone is struggling, don’t try to fix their situation. ( you can’t. ) When someone is hurting, don’t attempt to take away their pain. ( you can’t. ) Instead, love them by walking next to them in the hurt. ( you can. ) Because sometimes what people need is simply to know they are not alone while going through difficulties in life ♥️

Live your life so that when it’s time to ask where the time went, you can answer:
It went to tender and joyful moments with family and friends.
To my search for Self, and mending the parts of me that were broken so that I had something healed to give.
It went to doing work that felt like play, to standing up for what I believe in, and to walking this earth with the wonder of a child.
My time went to LIVING ...

Complaining is a form of self-destruction so common, so familiar, it’s barely noticed- but our mind notices and our body subtly reacts. So, when we put petty words out into the atmosphere, they become real.
Words have power.
Mindful awareness of what is coming and going (our thoughts) from our head and out of our mouth is a special tool that can actually change our lives.
Question yourself- your thoughts-
Is it true? Is it necessary?
What or how does complaining serve us? When it comes to our spiritual and mental health, the short answer is…
It doesn’t.
