This morning, members of the St. Joseph Hospital Veteran's Council met with Dr. Laura Landerman-Garber, founder of the Holidays Cards for our Military Challenge - which collects and delivers personalized, signed expressions of respect, caring and gratitude to deployed U.S. troops. Veterans, & Military Families during the holidays.

Over the past month, our staff, patients and community members have been writing letters - and today we were honored to hand over 960 handwritten letters to Laura to mail to our deployed troops! In the multiple years that we have participated in this challenge, this is the MOST letters we have ever collected - and are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated!

All are welcome to join us tomorrow, Nov. 11th at 12pm for a very special Veterans Day celebration at our main hospital campus in Nashua where we'll be honoring a local World War II veteran!

Additionally, we'll have live music performed by a local high school student and free coffee for all Veterans in both the St. Joseph Hospital cafeteria as well as from our Crosby Bakery cafe in the atrium!
