Celandine.
Here, the first of the celandine flowers is just beginning to show in its bud. Itβs a curious plant, one of the first to brighten the woodland year, yet among the earliest to fade from the hedgerows. Its golden flowers vanish quickly, and its leaves turn brown as Mother Nature ticks away, marking the quiet passage of time.
