Join Us In Giving Back…
Each year Eyecon Optical loves to partner with the community and help a family at Christmas that is in deep need. We have been given the name of a family from church that could use a helping hand. This year, in the true spirit of Christmas, we are reaching out to help them experience the peace, joy and good will that is so abundant in this season. We believe that together, with our Eyecon family, we can help these children have a special and blessed Christmas! So for the next 12 days, we will be collecting gifts for these children and delivering right before Christmas!
Their story is a difficult one, it is one that was hard to hear, and one that we know does not define them. The mother has been through violent, debilitating abuse that the children have witnessed first hand. They have gone without many things, and their mother cannot make all ends meet, much less give them presents on Christmas morning. We would love to change that for them!
We, at Eyecon Optical, will be adopting this family for Christmas. We are calling out to all of our Eyecons and all in our local communities to join us in blessing this family beyond their wildest dreams. The children do not know that this is going on, and we do not want them to know that it came from any of us. They are still young enough to believe in Santa, but more importantly we want this to be a story of victory that gives all of the credit to Jesus.
We want this to be a story of the power of community and what Jesus can do when we invite him in. We would love for them to be able to tell their children someday that this is where their victory story began and how Jesus can change things. We would love for them to have the most amazing Christmas they’ve ever had, and to know they are truly loved.
So, if you feel led, join us in blessing this family this Christmas. Let’s see how our community can rise up and stand behind a local family that needs it. Lets show them that there’s power in community and power in what Jesus calls us to do. Let’s love on this family in a way they will never forget. Below is the list. They could use so much more than this, but let’s see what we, together, can do!
We will be gathering the gifts at the store, under this tree, which was put in place just for this family. So, come and join in if you feel called. Let’s fill this place with gifts for this family! There is so much joy in helping, let’s give together!
