Temporary pause@ Yogavita
It is with deep sadness that we need to inform our yogi friends of the "why" we suddenly had to temporarily pause our studio this week. Unfortunately, we have lost our dear friend and co-owner and face of Yogavita, Missy, on the early hour of Wednesday, March 4th due to complications of breast cancer.
Firstly, it is very important to her husband and family that you know what the studio and all of you meant to her. It was not a business to her it was a family. She loved and cherished each and every one of you. She was truly happy to see and know your faces, know your stories and to provide a safe, loving space and community for you to practice and find solace.
Secondly, it is important that you all know just how strong she fought to stay here and be with all of us right until the very end. She fought with a dignity and strength that is beyond admirable. There will never be enough words to honor her and a positivity that most of us would never be able to match. She is and always will be a true Warrior.
We are asking for your patience and understanding during this temporary closure as it has greatly saddened and impacted not only our Yoga teaching staff, but our Yogi community. Please understand we are at a loss for words and exactly what to do at this moment. Further, please know we will make it up to you and hope you plan to stick beside us during this challenging time. Moving forward and when the timing is right we plan to resume classes as soon as we can. This tragic loss of our dear friend was unexpected! Please understand we are in mourning and plan to make periodic announcements on either social media or studio signage once more decisions are made. Thank you deeply for your understanding and patience at this time. We truly love our Yoga community 🙏🏻
Take good care and Namaste
