Another day to celebrate anniversaries! We couldn’t do what we do without these 2 wonderful administrative assistants! Gayle started 4 years ago in our Milford office and has been so helpful with establishing processes as we have grown! We value her expertise, welcoming presence, and friendly demeanor with our staff and clients. Hadleigh joined our team last year and is based in our Sheldon office. She jumped right in to the position and has been so helpful and dependable!! She makes many phone calls each day to ensure things run smoothly! We are so thankful for both of these wonderful women who bring so much to our team!

Yesterday we celebrated staff anniversaries for Kelly Sinnema and Dawn Clements. Both joined our team 5 years ago! We spent our staffing time sharing memories from each year as well as sharing traits/characteristics that define the work they do with their clients and our team here at Elevate. They were also gifted a necklace that signified their strongest trait. We are truly blessed by these two and can't imagine our team without their presence. Thank you for the amazing five years and we look forward to more!

Last week we celebrated two staff anniversaries!

Heather joined our team 2 years ago and has completed her supervisory experience! She will now be independently licensed and continue to serve her clients in the Sheldon office. As a team, we shared how much we value Heather’s positive attitude, caring demeanor, and clinical experience. She always makes her clients feel welcome and supported. We are very grateful to have her on our team!

Mariah joined Elevate one year ago and serves clients in both Milford and Orange City. Mariah’s gentle demeanor allows clients to feel comfortable in the therapy office. Mariah always has a smile on her face and is very willing to help in any way she can. She cares deeply about her clients and desires to help them develop meaningful and productive lives and she walks alongside them in their journey.

We are so thankful for both of these amazing women here at Elevate!!

We are excited to welcome Kimberly Studer to our team as a part-time administrative assistant in Milford! Kimberly brings past human services experience to this position along with a positive attitude and welcoming presence. We are thankful to have her on our team!

We had a wonderful lunch with our staff today celebrating some milestone anniversaries!

Vanessa and Jacque celebrated 4 years with Elevate! We spent time reflecting on the things we love most about each of them.

Ciara and Lindsay celebrated 2 years with Elevate and the completion of their supervision requirements! We had the opportunity to recognize their growth over the past 2 years and gifted them with miniatures that we felt best reflected their greatest strengths and gifts.

It was a wonderful day!

We are excited to announce the addition of Kallie Bakker to our Milford office!

Kallie is local to Northwest Iowa. She holds a Masters degree in social work from the University of Northern Iowa and is an LMSW in the state of Iowa.

Kallie has experience working with adults and adolescents with disabilities as well as individuals who are survivors of domestic violence. She enjoys meeting clients where they are and working with them to meet their goals. She also has a background in working with clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment related disorders.

This past weekend, Elevate Therapy + Assessment was honored to award four scholarships to graduating seniors at Okoboji High School during Senior Awards Night.

The first scholarship is the Mental Health Matters Scholarship which is intended to support graduating seniors who plan to enter a mental health related field. The second is the Women in Entrepreneurship Scholarship. This scholarship is open to female students who have a desire to start their own business in the future.

In all, $2000 was given in $500 scholarships to four Okoboji seniors! We hope these scholarships will help these young people as they further their education and positively impact their communities!

We are excited to announce the addition of Brianna Oetken to our Milford & Sheldon offices, beginning in May!

Bri spent the last four years as a therapist in the area and discovered two passions as a therapist - play therapy and healing trauma. She approaches therapy through a trauma-informed lens while remaining person-centered to reach your goals. Bri has experience utilizing play therapy and body-centered therapies to assist children and adults in processing trauma, building resiliency, reconnecting the mind and the body, and increasing emotional regulation. She recognizes the honor it is to walk alongside an individual and family to work towards healing!

After three wonderful years at Elevate Therapy + Assessment, Catherine Fields-Nelson is embarking on a new adventure! She has brought wisdom, experience, and a quiet, gentle spirit to both her clients and colleagues, making a lasting impact on our team.

Catherine has decided to take a two-year sabbatical from providing mental health services to travel the world with her husband. While we will miss her greatly, we are excited for all the incredible experiences ahead for her.

What started as a team of two in 2020 has grown into a thriving practice with 17 incredible professionals, all dedicated to providing compassionate care and support.
