As a member of the senior living community in Seward County, Sunrise Country Manor is saddened to hear that Crestview Care Center and Utica Care Center will be closing their doors. Both facilities have provided excellent care to their communities and the surrounding area for decades. The closures will have a significant impact on the lives and livelihoods of many. These closures are part of an unfortunate trend affecting a considerable number of long-term care facilities throughout the state of Nebraska. Sunrise has lent their voice to support changes to Medicaid reimbursement and will continue to advocate for our residents and individuals in need of skilled nursing care. Sunrise Country Manor plans to continue providing long term care services to the community for the foreseeable future. We are committed to working with our representative, Senator Kolterman, the community of Milford, and Seward County to assist those affected by this closure.

Sunrise unexpectedly lost one of our own this week. Please consider supporting Amy's family during difficult time. We will all miss her at Sunrise.

On January 21st, Amy suffered a massive stroke and was transported to the ICU at Bryan West in Lincoln.
