Soooooo I've been out of the game for a few months, if none have noticed. It's been quite the quandary. I was 50 miles out in nature and simply bent over to pick up a stick and ,pop, something happened. I couldn't stand, walk, dress or anything normal that people take for granted, for pretty much 2 months. Now I've lived in pain for a few years now with a drop foot due to this pinched nerve and bulging disc but something that day decided to challenge my willpower even more on top of dealing with hubby having an ablation, my dog having cancer and the daily stresses of life. When things like this happen my game face turns on. Of course I was depressed, I couldn't drive or had to rely on others to actually help me in the simplest of tasks like letting the dogs out due to the fact I've always been so self sufficient and proud of it and not able to help others as I yearn to do. The tables had turned. So after I wiped my tears I started physical therapy to avoid surgery seeing as I already have this one planned for the future, I didn't want another. I started learning to adjust how I moved, stood with a walker, progressed to a cane then made my way to Back In Motion to ask for help recouping. I'll tell you what, my first visit I was in tears trying to do everything they asked of me so they could evaluate what I needed to heal. Now I'm the sorta person, that no matter how much pain it causes, if I know it will help in the long run, I will push through. So that being said after 6 weeks, and days I didn't wanna go, I prevailed with there help and kindness. I am back to where I was before this happened. Felt like forever cause I am a "hurry up and get it done" type but so proud that I'm here today to get back out there, with continued self therapy, directed by them. Finally back to the woods I go. Now that being said, I know there's only a month left to harvest and I do have about 30 lbs ready and processed for sales at the future markets o lr private. So message me for your needs seeing as it's limited due to unforseen circumstances. God Bless, never give up and stay healthy all. Thank you for your business and support. Especially thanks to the people at Back In Motion in Old Town that don't have the slightest idea how ecstatic I am that they helped me get back to basics and nature. Love to all
