📢 IMPORTANT PATIENT SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT
At Accurate Chiropractic Associates, your health and safety are always our highest priority. Because of this, we need your help in keeping your care both safe and effective.
If you have experienced ANY of the following since your last appointment, it is critical that you inform our staff before you are seen:
✔️ A slip, trip, or fall
✔️ A car accident — even a minor one (yes, even being rear-ended at 5 mph can cause whiplash!)
✔️ A workplace injury
✔️ A sports injury
✔️ A visit to the hospital, urgent care, or ER
✔️ Any new pain, swelling, or unusual symptoms
Even incidents that feel “small” or “not a big deal” can create underlying injuries — especially to the neck, back, and soft tissues. These injuries are not always immediately noticeable, but they can affect how safe and appropriate an adjustment will be.
💡 Did you know?
A low-speed car accident can cause whiplash without any initial pain. Adjusting a spine that has an untreated or unknown injury can worsen inflammation, irritate injured tissues, or delay healing. This is why proper evaluation is so important.
By letting us know what happened before your appointment begins, you give our doctors the ability to:
• Examine the area safely
• Modify or delay treatment if necessary
• Order imaging when appropriate
• Create a care plan that protects your healing
• Prevent further injury
• Provide the highest standard of care
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding. Our goal is always to treat you in the safest, most effective way possible — and sometimes that means adjusting your appointment plan to ensure we’re addressing your condition correctly.
