IRON PLATE GYM MEMBER HIGHLIGHT!!

IPG would like for everyone to meet LIAM L. He has been a member for over 3 years. We asked him a few questions and listed his responses.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT IPG? "I love the environment. I don't think there's another gym like this one, where I feel welcomed and a part of a family."

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS, FITNESS OR OTHER? "I would love to compete in competitive bodybuilding."

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WORKOUT? "Push Day!!"

We would like to add, Liam has also created two pieces of equipment that members have used and actually have incorporated it, into their workouts.

If you see this guy in the gym, say "HI", he is one of the nicest, down to earth guys you will meet.

Our Story

Twenty-two veterans per day take their life as a result of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD. Upon their discharge and after serving several years in a high stress environment with constant peer support, our veterans return to civilian life and the adjustments to this change, can leave them feeling overwhelmed and alone.

Some veterans seek medical advice for their PTSD symptoms and find that the medication alone is beneficial. On the other hand, some veterans choose exercise as a way of controlling symptoms. Studies have shown medication combined with exercise and nutrition have a greater impact on lowering anxiety and depression than medication alone.

Iron Plate Gym is a veteran owned company that values our veterans and first responders. Our goal is promotion of physical fitness in all of our clients, especially those who struggle with PTSD, and we will honor this by providing our clients with a comfortable, welcoming environment in which to attain their fitness goals.
