Community Impact Now Hiring: Co-Response Clinician
Community Impact Inc. | Embedded with Medway Police Department

Community Impact Inc. is seeking a Co-Response Clinician to join our team in partnership with the Medway Police Department. This unique, impactful role embedds clinicians directly alongside law enforcement to provide compassionate, trauma-informed crisis response to individuals experiencing mental health or emotional distress.

As a Co-Response Clinician, you will:
* Respond on scene with police officers to mental health–related calls
* Provide de-escalation, emotional support, and clinical assessment
* Assess mental status, social functioning, and level of risk to self or others
* Help connect individuals to appropriate supports and resources

This position is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about community-based crisis work, collaboration, and making a meaningful difference at critical moments.

We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity to engage youth and community members in a meaningful and creative initiative. Chris’ Corner Recovery Resource Center is launching a Postcard Drawing Contest aimed at promoting self-expression, recovery awareness, and community connection.
This project will invite participants to design a black-and-white 4x6 postcard image with messages of hope, resilience, and healing. Selected designs will be printed and distributed locally, with the artist’s message reaching members of our community who may be seeking support or encouragement.

We welcome submissions from:

Youth and students,Individuals in recovery, Families
Local artists and community members

Each postcard design should reflect the positive theme, “Hope Grows Here.” All submissions must include acknowledgement and virtual signature on the release agreement below, and be submitted through this Google Form by September 30th at 5pm. Winners will be announced at our Color Run/walk for Recovery on October 4, 2025.

In addition to showcasing the winning designs, prizes will be awarded and entries may be featured in public spaces, outreach events, and online platforms.

We are asking for your support in spreading the word and encouraging participation. If you are interested in learning more, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Due to the increase in temperatures forecasted for this week, we will be opening Chris' Corner- Recovery Resource Center at 12 Main Street Milford, MA as a cooling shelter. To provide relief for our unhoused friends and anyone else who may need to escape the heat.

Located at 12 Main Street in downtown Milford, the cooling shelter offers a friendly environment with convenience items available including snacks, bottled water, a charging station for your phones or other electronics, a television, or just resting to get out of the heat.

If you see anyone out on the streets or maybe the A/C in the house has stopped working and they need some relief, please share the cooling shelter information with them!
