Specialize in treatment for domestic/relationship violence, sexual assault, parenting, anxiety, trauma, and adolescent and child transitions. Extensive experience working with a variety of non-profit organizations, foster care, shelters, as well as working with individuals who are incarcerated, paroled or on probation. Worked with the Attorney General’s office, and has several years of experience working with individuals who are hospitalized at all levels, for psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Certifications include, “Domestic Violence Specialist” through the Delaware Coalition
Against Domestic Violence, and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Planned Parenthood Delaware in Making Proud Choices: A Pregnancy and HIV Prevention Program, and as a specialty instructor through Delaware Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood. Received several awards including but not limited to: 2008 YWCA Genieve Gore Young Women’s Leadership Award; named one of “40 people under 40 people to watch” by Delaware Today Magazine, May 2008 and she received the Delaware State University College of Health and Public Policy and Social Work Dean’s Award of Excellence.
