A semicolon (;) may look small, but it carries a powerful meaning. It represents a pause; not the end. Just like an author could have ended their sentence but chose not to; you too can choose to keep going.

For so many, the semicolon has become a symbol of strength, hope, and survival. It’s a reminder that your story isn’t over; no matter how heavy life feels, no matter the battles you’re facing, there are brighter chapters still unwritten.

To those who are struggling: you are the author of your story. You matter; your life matters. Choosing to stay, to fight, and to keep writing your story is an act of courage beyond measure. 💜

Let’s honor ***dePreventionMonth by spreading awareness, breaking the silence, and reminding each other that none of us are alone in this. Together, we can turn pauses into purpose; and remind the world that hope is never lost. ;

988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. 988 is the new three-digit code for the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline that will provide easier access to life-saving services.

Preparing for full 988 implementation requires a bold vision for a crisis care system that provides direct, life-saving services to all in need. This leads to many questions about the transition to 988 and how 988 will work. We at SAMHSA welcome these questions.
