The Veterans Home received a flow of gratitude from the youth of our surrounding communities. We had visits from Lake Forest Elementary, a performance by Clayton Elementary Choir and early Veterans Day celebration and donation drive hosted by WB Simpson Elementary. Thank you, we are grateful for your contributions and continued support 🙏 ❤️

The residents & staff at The Delaware Veterans Home are in full swing in preparation for Halloween. Annually, students from The Boys & Girls Club of Milford, DE, stop by for pre-planned trick or treating. As you can see, the pumpkins are carved & we are fully armed with candy & treats. Friday, we will also have our Pumpkin Carving & Costume Contest. LET THE GHOUL ARRIVAL BEGIN...

Another long time friend of the veterans of DVH are The Buffalo Soldiers Calvary Scouts Md Eastern Shore! On Saturday, they dropped by with a donation of body wash and pure joy for the residents. Thank you for relentless support of veterans both retired and active!
