Pamela K. Neville

NEVILLE, Pamela Kay (Fisher) of Amherst, New Hampshire - March 25th, 2026

Beloved wife of Allan (Al) Neville. Devoted mother to Michael S. DiPirro and his wife Christine (O’Brien) of Plaistow, NH, Matthew D. DiPirro and his wife Lindsay (Desilets) of Manchester, NH, and stepmother to Erin Neville of St. Petersburg, FL. and her partner Michael DiDio. Grandmother of Zoey Claire and Sasha Margaret DiPirro.

Pamela was born in Champaign, Illinois, to Margaret and William Fisher on March 7th, 1957. Pamela’s mission in life was to make the people around her smile. If you had a passion, she was your biggest cheerleader and she loved supporting you. Pam never met a stranger; you instantly became her friend, whether you were a server at her favorite restaurant or just in line with her at the supermarket. Her love and dedication to people around her had no limits.

Pam loved New England sports teams and bonded with her friends and family by spiritedly joining in on fantasy baseball and football leagues. She often chose her favorite Red Sox and Patriots players as early as possible. There was nothing that she loved more than hosting her kids and grandchildren at her home for some appetizers, a homemade meatloaf, and a Patriots game.

Pam cherished the time that her family spent together. She often would be so excited after a wonderful day that she would reach out to her sons when they got home to make the next set of plans, especially if it meant spending more time with her beloved granddaughters.

A beach lover, Pam enjoyed family vacations spent on Moody Beach in Maine, sister trips to Hampton Beach, and even had a destination wedding in the Bahamas to her beloved husband, Al. Joyous times of sun-filled days and karaoke nights will be remembered fondly.

She worked as a bookkeeper at IntegraTECH Distribution and had office administration positions at SpacePole and Hi-Tech Fabricators. She held just as much care for those she worked with as her closest friends outside of work. She was often described as a “second mom” or “mom of the office.”

Pam was loved in every corner of her life due to the overwhelming kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity that she showed to those around her. Her smile, her laugh with the little snort at the end, and the little happy dance that she would do will all be greatly missed, and will be forever with us in spirit.

We can honor her legacy by paying it forward and uplifting others, taking time to see the joy in each day, pausing to admire a sunset, and enjoying more moments with those we love and telling them we love them often. She walked through life with a warm smile and sought to see yours too.

She was predeceased by her parents William Fisher and Margaret Fisher along with her brothers Richard and Bill Fisher. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, her sister Bennetta (Fisher) McConnell and her husband Jon of Waverly, IL, and her nephew Nicholas Taylor and her former husband and father of her children, Steven DiPirro.

Her family asked that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Pam do so by donating to Boston Children’s Hospital's Every Child Fund through Extra Life at https://www.extra-life.org/participant/MikeDiPirro

What made Pam most happy was when she was surrounded by family and friends. In her memory, a celebration of life will be held on April 11th, 2026, from 1-3 p.m in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers,

Joan Dunn

Joan Dunn, 83, of Amherst, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully after a short illness on March 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Joan was born on December 7, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, to Samuel and Edna Meisler. She attended Martin Van Buren High School in Queens, NY

Early in her career, Joan worked as a secretary at Kollsman Instrument Corp., Queens, NY, where she proudly received an award for her exceptional shorthand skills. Her greatest joy came when she became a mother, she chose to devote herself fully to her home and family — a role she embraced with love, pride, and unwavering dedication.

Joan was a longtime member of the Congregational Church in Amherst, NH, Eastern Star Puritan Chapter No. 29, and an active member of the local Red Hat Society. She had a gift for finding joy in the simple things — whether it was discovering a great bargain at a yard sale, baking something delicious in the kitchen (with plenty of butter and Hellman’s mayonnaise nearby), or sharing coffee and laughter with those she loved.

She was known for her warm hugs, quick wit, and the kind of humor that made everyone feel at ease. Joan loved dancing, sewing, cooking, and puzzles, and she carried a lighthearted perspective on life, often reminding others, “There’s never a mistake when cooking — it’s just a new recipe.”

Above all, Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she created a home filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Denise Dunn of Amherst, NH, and her brother, Robert Meisler of Memphis, TN.

Joan is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William Dunn III of Amherst, NH; a brother, Benjamin Meisler and his wife, Linda, of Memphis, TN. Her children, Deanna Cordts and her husband Jeffrey of Amherst, NH and William Dunn IV and his wife Rebecca of Nelson, NH.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Brittany Persaud (her husband Danny) of Tampa, Florida, Lauren Todd (her husband Matt)of Amherst, NH, Taylor Rodgers (her husband Tyler) of Lyndeborough, NH, Seth Cordts (his girlfriend Syndey Jones) of Oakland, CA, and William Dunn V (a.k.a. Liam) and Lucas Dunn of Nelson, NH. Her legacy continues through her adored great-grandchildren: Danika, Dax, and Dashel Persaud of Tampa, FL; Lina, Parker, and Spencer Todd of Amherst, NH; and Tatum and Teagan Rodgers of Lyndeborough, NH.She also leaves a niece, Stacey Diller from Nashville, TN and 2 nephews, Michael Dunn of Smithtown, NY and James Dunn of Lutz, FL.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 29, from 3:00–6:00 PM at Smith & Heald Funeral Home in Milford, NH. A funeral service will take place on Monday, March 30, at 11:00 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church in Amherst, NH. A private burial will be held at a later date.

In honor of Joan’s vibrant spirit — and her well-known dislike of the color black — guests are encouraged to wear anything but black.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Denise Dunn Scholarship Fund. c/o Deanna Cordts, 21 Blueberry Hill Rd., Amherst, NH 03031

Joan’s kindness, humor, and deep love for her family will be remembered always — in every shared recipe, every warm embrace, and every moment of laughter she inspired.

Judith "Judy" F. Tabb

Judith “Judy” (Foss) Tabb passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 85. She was born in New Jersey on December 2, 1940, the daughter of the late Spencer D. and Regina (Motzenbecker) Foss. Judy was raised in Pennington, NJ, where she graduated from Central High School, class of 1959. She attended Touro Infirmary School of Nursing in New Orleans, LA, graduating as a Registered Nurse.

Judy met her husband Fielding, in Pennington when Fielding’s family moved in around the corner. Sweethearts since the age of 13 (72 years), they married in Pennington, NJ in 1965. Judy and Fielding spent their 61 years of happily married life creating homes in 15 locations; including Greenbelt, MD; Middletown, MD; New Carrollton, MD; Pennington, NJ; Williamstown, MA; Williamsburg, VA; Williamstown, MA (second time); Cazenovia, NY; Amherst, NH; Montgomery, TX; Evergreen, CO; Cincinnati, OH; Bedford, NH; South Yarmouth, MA; and Goffstown, NH. To say Judy was an expert at moving, making each house a home, and making new friends is an understatement.

Judy was a dog lover and they had many pets over the years. Her beloved dog, Maggie will miss the many snuggles and treats Judy gave her. Judy enjoyed reading, movies, word puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. She had a vast network of friends around the country and loved socializing over bridge, tennis, and going skiing with her family. She was a member of the Amherst Garden Club, Bedford Women’s Club, South Yarmouth Garden Club, and played in golf leagues both in New Hampshire and on Cape Cod.

But perhaps her most cherished role was being “Gramie.” Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She filled their days with stories, hugs, gentle encouragement, and the kind of unconditional love that will remain with them forever. The memories she created will be treasured for generations.

She is survived by her loving husband, Fielding of Goffstown, NH; her daughter, SusanArmstrong and her husband Alan of Goffstown, NH; her son John Tabb of Portland,Maine; her five grandchildren, Cameron, Sidney, and Paige Armstrong, and Emily and Olivia Tabb; and her brother Bill Foss and his wife Karen of Mill Valley, California.

Judy lived her life of 85 years by the belief that a simple act of politeness could change someone’s day. She taught us that beauty is found in the consistency of a loving heart. Her legacy was not one of boastfulness or pride, but rather a reflection of a life happy and content among family and friends. We will miss her deeply and are comforted by the many ways she shaped us and the enduring kindness she instilled in each of our lives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Judy at 1pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Holy Rosary Church, in Hooksett, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory by sharing kindness with others — just as she did throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Fred B. Roedel

Fred B. Roedel passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, at his home. He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Kay, and is survived by his children Susan Pollio of Amherst, NH, Jennifer Bernard and her husband Paul of Mont Vernon, NH, David Roedel and his wife Mary Lynn of Hollis, NH and Fred B Roedel, III and his wife Deborah of Wilton, NH; grandchildren Jackson and Drew Pollio, William Bernard, Reilly, Lindsay and McKensey Roedel, by his 2 cousins; Joyce Carter and Bruce Gould; several nieces and nephews Scott Rathke, Lisa Rathke, Sharon Rathke, Carol Pitt and Gwynne Spencer.

Fred was born in Hackensack, NJ on October 11, 1932. He graduated from Hackensack High School and later Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1954. After serving in the US Army for two years, he received his master’s in business administration from Columbia University in 1958.

Fred was a driven, self-made individual. He grew up in Paramus, NJ, on the chicken farm his father built. When his father passed away at an early age, operating the farm fell to Fred, his mother and sister. The three of them created a successful business and developed the “never say never attitude” he lived every day of his life.

Fred initially worked for Standard Packaging in New York City and later became President of Educator Biscuit Company in Lowell, MA at the age of 29 in 1960. In 1965 he left Educator to start his own company. Susse Chalet Hotels became one of the largest and most successful privately owned regional hotel chains in the United States. At its height there were more than forty-five locations stretching from Maine to Maryland, and as far west as Ohio. In 2000 Fred successfully sold his company and started a new hotel company, Roedel Companies, with his children. During his career he served on several Boards of Trustees including Public Service of NH and the former First Federal Bank in Nashua.

He believed in people and the opportunity for anyone to achieve personal success through discipline and determination. His success allowed him and his wife to support organizations devoted to supporting young people; the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, endowed scholarships at Bishop Guertin High School, and through their involvement with New Hampshire Charitable Foundation they impacted numerous organizations throughout the state. In 1991 he was recognized by Fairleigh Dickinson University for supporting students. In 2002 he donated a new baseball field at Daniel Webster College named “Harvey Woods Field” after his college coach and mentor.

Fred was involved in the communities in which he worked or lived. In Nashua he served on the Board of the Nashua Children’s Home and the Chamber of Commerce. In Wilton he served several terms on both the Board of Education and Town Planning Board.

Fred expressed special love and appreciation for Saranac Lake, NY. It is where his grandfather developed the original hydroelectric facility with Paul Smith, where he met and married the love of his life Kay Leetch and where the family enjoyed decades of experiences first at the platform tent site on the Lower Saranac Lake on Goose Island, later the Saranac River camp and finally the family home on the Lower Saranac Lake. He was particularly proud to assist the Saranac Lake Historical Society with several of their recent projects showcasing and preserving the unique people, accomplishments and history of the Village.

Fred’s true legacy and love was his wife Kay his children and his family. He always said he was the luckiest man alive to find the prettiest girl. He supported his children and their endeavors, always finding time to be present at their events or coaching one of the teams regardless of his other commitments.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 23 at the First Church, 1 Concord Street, Nashua, New Hampshire at 10AM. In honor of Fred B. Roedel, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley. When making a gift, you may check the “Dedicate this donation” box to include Fred's name and a short message. Gifts made in his memory help support the Club's programs, providing a safe and nurturing environment where local youth can learn, grow, and thrive.
