Today, we pause as a community to remember the innocent lives lost in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. We honor the children and educators whose lives were taken far too soon, and we hold their families, friends, and all those forever changed by this tragedy in our hearts.

Their memories remind us of our shared responsibility to care for one another, to lead with compassion, and to work toward a future where every child is safe, valued, and protected. Though time has passed, our commitment to remembrance, healing, and unity remains unwavering.

May we continue to honor the victims not only with words, but through kindness, vigilance, and a dedication to building a more peaceful and caring community.
