🌟 NeFDA Member Spotlight 🌟

Meet one of our dedicated Nebraska funeral directors who found his calling in an unexpected way - by randomly selecting "funeral director" from a career book in high school!

Since 2000, he's been serving families with heart, compassion, and dignity. As a licensed embalmer and funeral director since 2006, he truly wears many hats - from arrangements and paperwork to restorative arts and pre-need counseling.
His Philosophy: "It's not just about the 'goodbye,' but honoring a life and serving families with utmost dignity, helping them begin their journey towards peace."
Beyond funeral service, he's deeply involved in his Fremont community - serving on church council, YMCA board, Rebuilding Together (past president), and currently the Fremont Golf Club board. He has previously volunteered for Special Olympics and local schools, and yes - he was featured in the 2008 Men of Mortuary Calendar! 📅

When not serving families, you'll find him golfing, running, biking, or enjoying outdoor activities with his two daughters - his favorite stress relievers.
His advice to newcomers: Welcome new ideas, focus on being a skilled embalmer and restorative artist, stay professional and humble, and connect with your community.

Thank you for your dedication to Nebraska families and your service as Vice-President of the NeFDA Board of Directors! 🙏
