So,
it's been a while since I posted on here but, I used a product recently that I think needs to be blogged about. It's John Frieda's Luminous Glaze color glosser. My mother in law kindly gave it to me a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't particularly like John Frieda hair products but it was a freebie so I thought why not. Now, bare in mind this is supposed to be a conditioning glaze for blondes. It states and I quote "refresh dull blonde hair with a touch of fresh blonde color, silky texture and glistening shine. It's horrible! I followed the
instructions, left it on for three minutes and rinsed off. For lightened hair my hair is in pretty good condition and feels soft when I wash and condition it. This felt like I had taken Dawn dish detergent and washed my hair five times it it! It felt coarse, dry, and looked oddly brittle. I had a real battle trying to comb out the snags. I never, ever have that problem normally. I blow dried my hair and used my usual serum before flat ironing my hair. Now, it's summertime here, so pretty humid. I can usually prevent the frizz quite easily but my hair looked awful. It felt like straw and looked worse. I had to rewash it the day after and leave my usual conditioner on for ten minutes. Luckily I don't think any permanent damage was done but I wanted to warn anyone against trying this product.
Here's my review from 0-10, 0 being he worst, 10 the best.
