Karen Fisher, a survivor from Inverness, Florida, turned her experience into advocacy. Alongside her care team of surgeon Parth Patel, M.D., and gastroenterologist Trupti Shinde, M.D., of AMSURG’s Citrus Endoscopy and Surgery Center, she co-founded the Citrus Colorectal Cancer Foundation.
