MY SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES WITH ORACLES:
In the past, I have had a few spiritual experiences with oracles. Nothing terrifies oracles more than a prophecy. It's just another chore or threat of impending doom. But what can you do? Oracles are beyond our control-Almost inevitable.
My first oracle experience in the mortal world was in high school. I had a vision of the greek myths burning and falling from mount Olympus into a mortal's hands. At the time, I wasn't sure what the vision meant. I thought it meant that the Greek myths are lost in time and need to be restored.
In university, I realised that the greek myths aren't lost when I first read them and that maybe they are just fabrications or misinterpretations of divine truth. Maybe the vision was a sign that I would debunk common misconceptions about it.
As soon as I read the first page of the Greek myths, my mind flooded with visions of the creation, but it wasn't exactly as written. It was more based on modern cosmogony. Perhaps, an oracle from the pages had possessed me. I don't know. But that's when my oracle journey began in the mortal world.
In another vision, a year or so later, I stood behind the curtains in a temple of Artemis. Oracles wearing red veils guarded the altar. A man approached the temple. The high priestess demanded that he explains why he, a man dares to enter the temple of Artemis or approach the oracle. It's forbidden. She almost sacrificed him at the altar.
I met the delphic oracle, Pythia, in a cave, during my astral travels. Pythia looked a thousand years old and was wearing a veil. She offered me ancient tea, at a round table, but I humbly declined. I appreciate the offer, but ancient tea doesn't really suit my tastes. Sorry. Pythia sent me on a quest to retrieve the Asphodel flower, in Elysium to grant her eternal youth and make her look young again-that I almost did. However, the guards of Hades chased me, because it's forbidden for mortals to touch the flower. It's also forbidden for Pythia to escape her curse. So, they turned her into a leafless willow tree as a punishment.
I met Hecate at the cross-road in the underworld. The crossroad led to Elysium, Tartarus and Asphodel. Her three heads argued about which way to go and chanted prophecies in trivia mode. Each head had a split personality. She cloned into three oracles wearing a hooded cloak. Each clone stood on a different path. They chanted an oracle, while their eyes glowed white. They finally told me to choose my path.
Hades told me that if I am successful at becoming an oracle, I shall join the mysteries-immortal sister divinities of prophecy and his maids who wear a hooded cloak in his throne-room. The mysteries once were mortal oracles who earnt immortality and higher divine status through their outstanding prophecy work, throughout life.
Once, I heard a very poetic and long prophecy about my quests, but forgot it as I didn't write it down. Dam it! Why didn't I just write it? That's why demigods and oracles should always carry a note-pad and pen. It always comes in handy just in case. I unfortunately didn't have a pen or paper back then. Or maybe I forgot the oracle, because I was supposed to. Who knows? I am pretty sure it was something about falling with wings and rising. Not exactly sure. Anyway.
OTHER:
-Sometimes, the mysteries would whisper indistinct prophecies in my head, which I usually don't mentally process on the conscious level.
-I have several dreaded letters from the fates through many oracles. Please don't remind me.
-My first two tarot cards that I received: a sword and high priestess. The sword could be a symbol of unveiling hidden truths. I wonder what the high priestess tarot card could mean...
-I have many other oracle experiences which you can find in my page.
