OASIS Ascent’s New Clinical Director
Welcome Cristell Marcial, LCSW

Dear Colleagues and Partners,
OASIS Ascent is pleased to announce Cristell Marcial, LCSW, has been appointed as the new Clinical Director over Cascade (OASIS Ascent Boys Program). 

Cristell has been a valued member of the OASIS team, most recently serving as Associate Clinical Director over Cascade. She has played a key role in strengthening clinical quality, supporting staff development, and enhancing the experience for students and families. She is known for her steady leadership, strong communication, and ability to navigate complex clinical work while maintaining alignment with families and referral partners.

Cristell earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Utah Valley University and previously worked at the Children’s Justice Center, advocating for youth and families in high-acuity situations. She is trained in CBT, DBT, MI, and EMDR, and brings a thoughtful, individualized, and family-focused approach to treatment. She is also fluent in Spanish, expanding accessibility for the families we serve.

As we celebrate this transition, we also want to recognize Reggie Wilson for his meaningful contributions to OASIS Ascent. His leadership helped shape the clinical foundation of the Cascade Program, and his impact on students, families, and staff will be lasting. We wish him continued success in his next chapter as an Executive Director.

In reflecting on this transition, Brent Esplin, Executive Director shared, “I am confident in both the foundation that has been built and the direction ahead. I am deeply grateful for Reggie’s years of service and the impact he has made at OASIS. I am also very excited for Cristell to step into this new role as her extensive experience within Ascent, and the leadership she has already demonstrated, position her well to lead our clinical team forward and continue strengthening the program.”
